Flight taken on board a Saab340 on a windy sunday afternoon.

Easy and efficient check in. Flight boarded on time, but at the gate a few of us had our seats changed to (in the words of the person leading us to the plane)...'they need to balance the load to stabilise the plane. They are a nightmare when they are not full, as the plane doesn't like it' - NOT the best advertisement when it's me that's been moved to 'stabilise' it. I'm not a confident flyer at the best of times, so this really put me on edge for the whole journey.

Once on board (in my new seat 11D), the leather seat was very comfortable. Plenty legroom. Glad I took my i-pod on board as there was no magazine to read.

Then the engines started. Bang went any chance of relaxing. The noise was incredible - even my ipod with in-ear headphones couldn't even start to block out the engine and vibration noise.

We were served with a complimentary drink en-route which is a nice touch as I was not expecting anything.

The flight itself was fairy smooth until we started our descent. The lady next to me just about ended up in my lap - we were literally thrown about the sky. Once through the cloud, it didn't get much better as it was a very stormy day approaching Cardiff. However, we touched down safely and pulled up to a stop quickly - I don't think I've ever been so glad to get to the ground in one piece.

Of course, nothing to do with the Airline itself, but obviously affected the overall experience. Wouldn't stop me using them again as it's a very convenient flight. Maybe if the route takes off, they will upgrade the equipment being used, as its currently operated by Loganair.
