The first segment of this flight to JFK was aboard an Embraer 190 aircraft, which was very comfortable. The leather seats were very comfortable, legroom was great, and the seat back TV worked great. The cabin crew offered the full lineup of snacks and beverages to the passengers, and they delivered them with a smile. The second segment to Burlington was aboard on Airbus A320 aircraft, which was beginning to show it's age. The leather seat wasn't all that comfortable, and the overhead bin door didn't want to close, even though I only put my coat in the bin. The return flight from Burlington to JFK was delayed by more than one hour, due to weather in and around the New York City area. The crewmember at the gate kept the passengers well informed of the delay; and once we boarded the aircraft, the captain kept coming on the intercom reassuring us that they would get us to New York as quickly and safely as possible. The plane was a fairly new Airbus A320, which was much better than the plane on the previous trip. The seat was comfortable. Snack and beverage offerings on this segment were scarce, as only bottled water, juice, chips, and cookies were offered. The final segment of this trip from JFK to Raleigh was originally delayed by more than one hour, as the plane that was to be used was delayed coming in from Washington. About 30 minutes after our scheduled departure time, JetBlue changed out gate assignment, as our original plane still hadn't departed Washington. JetBlue managed to find another plane and crew to fly us to Raleigh, where we arrived about one hour late. Most of the passengers understood the delay, as the weather was pretty bad in the area. The professionalism of all cabin crews on each of the four flights far exceeded the other airlines that I have flown in the past. I have never had a bad experience with JetBlue, either at the airport or in dealing with the cabin crew. I would highly recommend this airline to anyone who wishes to fly to any of JetBlue's destinations. You definitely won't be let down! | ||
