Taken 24 October 2009 from London, England (Heathrow Airport) - LHR to Miami, FL (Miami International Airport) - MIA
Flew London Heathrow to Miami via Chicago O Hare. First leg on a B777 which was great, as it had American's new seat back entertainment (games and films). The Chicago crew were really cheery. The meals and drinks were both generous, but you have to pay $6 / £4 for alcohol. The second leg on a B757 went smoothly, although the plane was showing its age. I have read that American are currently undertaking a fleet renewal. One thing I noticed on both flights is that the seatbelt signs were switched on for practically most of the flight in spite of no turbulence. The leg room was standard 32" which I found tight being 6'. |
