1991 Alfa Romeo 33 1.7 IE 1.7
Summary:
True italian performance!!
Faults:
Only had the car a few weeks, but I bought it knowing some of the faults, one of them was the power steering rack had a leek and sprayed power steering fluid all over the place when turned. Am repairing it at the moment, VERY SIMPLE. (new o-rings)
Hub knocked when I turned right and needs new rubber boot.
Rear boot compressor arms are worn out so I need a stick to hold it up.
Small tare on driver side seat (left hand drive version)
General Comments:
I'm only 15 and yet I have managed to experience the superior handling and performance the vehicle puts out.
1.7 motor really winds it on the open road.
Accelerates like a race car and it's supposed to do 190 kph (120 mph), I've only gone 120 kph (70 mph) in it, but I'm too scared to go any faster.
Put nice speakers in the car and now it sounds really good.
Lots of rear seat legroom and cabin very comfortable.
Would you buy another car from this manufacturer? Don't Know

He hasn't responded. Either the 33 didn't come this far or that kid had his last drive attempting top speed without a license years ago... well at that age I had the urge to test the top speed on anything I could lay hands on, yes even the shopping cart.

15? At that speed you shouldn't have a licence, as your skills are not there yet. Be careful!
