1971 Datsun 510 GL 1.6 petrol
Summary:
Best perfomance for your dollar.
Faults:
Driver's seat has worn out.
Suspension bushes and brushes needed replacing.
Heater needed a new tap.
Timing chain needed replacement (As per recommended servicing).
Some minor body rust.
General Comments:
For a stock 1971 family sedan, it handled amazing. Save for the suspension sloppiness it stuck like chewing gum to carpet.
All instruments are clear, well set out and easy on the eyes.
Visibility is good.
One fault is the brakes, or lack of them really.
Would you buy another car from this manufacturer? Yes
