1968 Ford Falcon XR 170 pursuit
Summary:
A cheap classic cruise machine
Faults:
The only thing I have replaced on the car since I've had it were the windscreen wipers and air filter. The trust bearing in the gearbox needs replacing and the fuel gauge sender unit needs replacing other than that its fine. The rust is starting to come through bad, but you have to expect that from a 38 year old car.
General Comments:
The car is very sluggish the 170cu 3 speed manual is more of a cruise car not a race car. It doesn't handle well and drum brakes we know are really not good at all. The seats are comfortable, but there are no headrests on the seats so you could get bad whiplash if you're not careful.
Would you buy another car from this manufacturer? Yes

They actually had the nerve to call that model "pursuit"?!
I had a 1965 "Falcon" in the U.S. (a different looking car I'm sure) that had a 289 V-8 in it that went like a bat. You could "pursue" and PASS Mustangs with that car.
