Faults:

Nothing to date.

General Comments:

Changed to LPG just after I brought it, burns the rubber like a V8 and hammers like one too.

Very stock looking, but still has heaps of power.

Better than the old X series as the door handles don't break easy.

Very comfortable and roomy car.

Some people say you loose power with LPG but I didn't notice it, and neither did the dyno test.

This car has enough power to leave my mate's 2006 Honda Accord for dead at the lights, and it even leaves a 2006 V8 Commodore.

Faults:

Brakes are a little squeaky.

Catalytic converter rattling.

Other than that, pretty good.

General Comments:

It's got a straight interior, and has a SIC Sony explode sound system and a JVC head unit.

This car is USUALLY very powerful, but recently it has lost it, don't know if it's the converter or a completely different problem.

Light's are really bright, all I did was put white bulbs in. I have never had a heating problem and USUALLY spins extremely well!

Faults:

Motor needed Replacing at 10000 Km (Blew up about 20 km from nearest town)

Fuel tank needed repairs due to hitting stones out west.

Head gasket just prior to being sold

General Comments:

For a large car this was a poor manufacturing effort. Main problem with this vehicle was with the engine (as mentioned previously) as it needed replacing after only having the car for a couple of months. However, the car ran reasonably well after this was done. Unfortunately a 3 speed gearbox was fitted to this particular model which was detrimental to the fuel economy I can't remember exactly, but I think the head gasket was replaced just prior to the car being traded in early 1990.

Faults:

The engine has never been serviced.

The drivers seat was eaten by the dog.

There has been some minor panel damage.

General Comments:

Since I got this car given to me by the neighbours I have found no other that can replace or out do the XF S-Pak, I have had it purring @ 120 along gravel roads, taken it hunting and taken it any I go.

Faults:

Simple and maintenance things mostly like clutch, head gasket, oil leaks etc.

General wear due to the age of the vehicle.

General Comments:

Strong, reliable cruiser and will treat you well if you treat it well.

Amazing torque and strong power from the big 6, overtakes with ease.

Comfortable for long trips, roomy for passengers.

Modern looking and very ergonomic interior.

Thirsty around town, but an awesome highway car. Full tank of fuel can last up to 650 kms.

Looks, performs and handles killer with lowered suspension, decent mags, 2.5 inch exhaust and extractors, and replacing the cooling fan with twin thermos.

Eats the shorts off stock 4 cylinders in performance, and gives V6 Commodores a run for their money.

Generally an under rated, but very reliable cruiser when treated well, and a good performer.

Thought long in the tooth, it has never let me down.

I couldn't wish for a better car.
