Faults:

The Acclaim was EXCELLENT! It never broke down on me - ever, even after some 60,000kms! I loved it dearly and is still in the family! These cars will go forever with just general maintenance.

General Comments:

Grunt when you want it, good economy 480 - 520kms a tank. And "F all" to fix.

Roomy cabin, with good legroom. Recommend Holden to anyone!

Only thing that wasn't too good was the ride, was a bit wallowy - like a boat, but still handled well.

Faults:

Transmission box has failed at 230,000.

Front and rear spring are on their way.

Changed spark plugs leads.

Radiator leaking.

Radiator pump.

Also, I don't know why my car misses when you put your foot down? It shudders, then stops missing and it's fine? Or when the car is going up hill, it does the same thing?

General Comments:

In general, the Holden is not a bad car.

I like the insides for e.g speed control, cruise control.

I think the seats are pretty comfortable.

VERY good on fuel - a full tank gets me 500 to 600k's on highways and 400 in town.
