Faults:

Replaced the motor (last owner mistreated it something bad).

General Comments:

I Love this car. 22 years old and it has wiped off so many new VE's it ain't funny.

I got it with a 2inc on the back, I have changed that to a 4in straight through, and I can tell ya people turn their heads when they hear it coming.

The power is mind blowing. This is my first car and I gotta say at the current time I wouldn't mind if I still had this car when I'm 60. IT'S PERFECT.

Faults:

-Takes a good five minutes to warm up, before I can move it without it idling out.

- Being a carby powered V8, it munches down the fuel, but the pure enjoyment from the smooth driving and traditional Aussie V8 it makes up for it.

- Maintenence and spare parts cost can vary from very cheap to overly expensive due to age.

General Comments:

- Is great to drive. It feels much easier to drive than a newer model due to it's smaller wheel base and squarer look.

- Is easily the best looking of the early model Commodores, and can be picked up for a song. Worth the money for either the 3.3L or 5.0L especially if you like performance cars. I have left mine standard, but it would be very easy to tune a lot more power out of this car.

- It's got a good turning circle for a V8 and goes from 0-100kms very easily.

It is at home on the open freeway and you never feel like the engine is struggling.

Faults:

Universal Joints

Fuel pump

Power steering pump

Power steering rack

Indicator arm replaced twice after snapping off

Rear seats upholstery cracking.

General Comments:

A good reliable car with more than enough power which looks awesome. I will never sell this car due to its power, comfort and all round handling which puts it well ahead of any other car of its era including the VL commodore.
