2002 Holden Berlina VX 5.7L V8
Summary:
Good performance and Loads of fun power under the foot!
Faults:
Nothing has really gone wrong with my car since I bought it a few months ago. I purchased if from a Holden Certified Dealer here in Melbourne. The car has had no problems. It was actually a hard to find car being a Series 2 Berlina Wagon with a 5.7L V8. Runs well however seems a big rough when standing still. Holden reckons this is a trait of the V8's. Goes through no oil which I was worried about before purchasing the car. So no real gripes.
General Comments:
I recommend the 5.7. I used to have a 3.8 VR which was OK, but the V8 picks up the weak spots of the V6 and has that grunt to make going up steep hills a breeze. The wagons are slightly heavier than the sedans, but really moves with the V8. Loads of room for all kinds of junk in the back. The seats fold down and I can get a ladder and a wheelbarrow in the back easily. I for like 6 full size chairs in the back recently.
Would you buy another car from this manufacturer? Yes
