1982 Holden Commodore SL 3.3
Summary:
Made from real steel and it shows!
Faults:
None.
General Comments:
Great Aussie VH Commodore, built like a tank, and if you look after them, should last a long, long time.
Starts first go, not a drip (leak) anywhere, great reliability (previous original owner pampered the car), and it easily maintains the 110km/hr speed limit; sure it uses more petrol than a hybrid, but that's OK... it's fun! And you know you gotta have fun.
Love it, just make sure you get one that's been looked after by the previous owner (like all cars) and you'll be set for happy motoring for many years to come.
Would you buy another car from this manufacturer? Yes

Well I will give you what I recon is causing that pinging problem. timing is off over heating (which can cause bad pinging) crappy fuel possible new fuel filter and the shaking to see sounds like your struts are moving in. try getting a strut bar.
