1986 Holden Commodore VL Nissan RB30
Summary:
A good cheap reliable car
Faults:
The power steering hose blew after having the car for a few weeks. Cost me $286 to fix.
Radiator has a hairline crack down it. I just use Bars-leak to stop it, works well.
Also look for rust in the boot and around the back window seal.
General Comments:
The Nissan engine is very reliable and strong I give it a hiding and still continues to run very well!!
The Executive is basic and doesn't have many options. But it's a cheap good car for the "P" Platers.
The back end is easy to loose in the wet, so take her easy around corners.
I have sat her on 17" ROH rims, put a clarion head unit in, 2x 6x9's in the parcel shelf and two 12" subbys in the boot. Had to redo the rear parcel shelf as it was very flimsy and didn't suit the speakers.
Would you buy another car from this manufacturer? Yes

Wow 226Kw is a big number, but not un common for a bit of work on a 308! My brother in law has spent around $10,000 on his 308 and makes over 600hp. By the way where are you from?
