1994 Honda Accord VT-i 2.2
Summary:
Will buy again, but a newer model
Faults:
It is 2nd hand car with very low km. Very clean.
* Blown muffler. (middle section) - cheap to fix it.
* Front and back shock absorber is bit soft. (Thinking about changing it - how is the stock shock? Are they expensive?)
* Transmission bit jerks... when I change from 2nd to 3rd. Mechanic told me that might be bad transmission oil. Honda only uses genuine oil... transmission is very sensitive... will see after we change the oil.
* From back I heard some noise... that might be from bad shock or something. Don't know what it is. I could only hear it when I drive on rough roads. It sounds like some kind of rattling sound.
Anyone know what this could be?
General Comments:
At the moment, there are few things I need to change, but all the things are working.
I don't think it is quick car, but good enough for me to drive around.
Very clean car. No oil leaks.
No water leak from the sunroof yet.
Would you buy another car from this manufacturer? Yes

I have a 5-spd '94 LX. Bought it w/70K and put 30K on it. Ran the same with 100K miles. - excellent. Then my oil light came on and I thought it was a short in the fuse. Later found out that I blew a seal and had been running without oil for about 10 miles. My advice? Change the oil every 4K miles. and you'll get years of enjoyment out of it. Mine, however, will never run the same because of that mistake. Before that? I couldn't have asked for more. I loved that car.
