1994 Honda Prelude Si 2.3

Summary:

Mid engined, reliable, sporty coupe

Faults:

Nothing as of yet, very impressed. Only done timing belt at 200,000, but nothing else has needed replacing.

General Comments:

4ws was the one of the main reasons I bought this car, and those who say you don't notice it, I can guarantee this car will out-corner most 2ws cars with ease. The whole car turns around the corner and spreads the steering drag to all four wheels.

The engine is bigger than you would think, and packs a lot of punch for its size, even at 215000km.

Very reliable, sexy interior sporty feel. Cheap to run, but have to use premium; lasts longer anyway, and you get more performance.

The 2.3 model is turbo compatible from stock due to its low compression, but for us p platers, there are many cheaper mods to gain that extra HP.

Very modern for its age. Ahead in technology by far.

The only downside to the car I think would be the price of parts and labour, but if you get your parts online, it ends up the same as any other Japanese car, and if you know what you're doing, labour isn't a problem.

Would you buy another car from this manufacturer? Yes

A 'mid engined' Honda Prelude? I thought the engines in these were in the front.
