2001 Mazda 626 Classic 2.0 petrol

Summary:

Reliable cheap transport

Faults:

Only routine items like brakes and tyres.

The hatch requires the key to make it unlock and then press the button.

The cup holders aren't very robust and they fall apart, but can be easily repaired.

General Comments:

Used as a daily runabout, it's very reliable with a comfortable cabin fitted with cruise control and a great radio and six stack CD.

Performance is adequate and the gear box is smooth shifting.

Fuel consumption is OK and everything works as it should.

Would you buy another car from this manufacturer? Yes

Hi there - can you tell me what the fuel consumption is that you are getting from this car?

2.0 petrol with manual transmission from this time period should average 35 mpg if driven correctly.
