Faults:
Quite a lot just after I got it, but settling down now.
Injectors were leaky when I got it, and have been replaced.
Transmission went which meant pull it apart and put it all back together again.
T-tops leaked when it rains, but that wasn't such a biggy, because it doesn't rain here anymore. Still, repaired that dodgy-like.
Half a dozen valves were bent over like nothing else.
Intake manifold blew it's gasket.
Exhaust manifold was only really half hanging onto the block. Thank God the thing had melted itself together. Possibly due to the fact that the radiator was so stuffed full of dirt it was suffocating.
The water pump died and gave the engine bay a nice green tinge...
I think that's about it.
General Comments:
With all those problems, you wonder why I bothered? Well because this car is great. I love the bloody thing.
Start with the outside, except for maybe the rear, a very appealing car, (too me.) Move inside, and there's an excellent layout. All knobs and buttons are visible and within easy reach.
Whilst she has the turning circle of an aircraft carrier, she grips the road and doesn't let go, unless you really, really try.
A nice rumble from the exhaust without any work done, even though I know it's not an 8.
So take the roof off, and cruise down the windy country road and just enjoy the drive.
Don't drive too long though; she can be a bit thirsty.

Are you sure you replaced CV joints? If your car is rear wheel drive then there are no CV joints...
