1984 Nissan Bluebird TR-X 2.0L L20B
Summary:
Cheap to fix, comfortable and fun to drive
Faults:
Continual water leak from the manifold down into the exhaust, have to top up the radiator every week!!
Heater core leaked all over the carpet at 280000km, had to rip it out (and the carpet).
Bent left rear axle, wheel squeaks continually when driving, goes away when the brakes are on. (Bent before I got the car, just slowly getting worse).
General Comments:
This car is surprisingly comfortable and agile for its age, feels very underpowered though. The chassis could handle a lot more power!
Its a very good long distance cruiser.
The interior has held up extremely well, very few squeaks and rattles, everything still works.
Air-con works extremely well.
Would you buy another car from this manufacturer? Yes

I had a 1984 TRX and with 4 people in it, it did 170km/h on the freeway.
Here's a tip if you own a TRX and want to put on a smoke show - fit a set of 14's, I borrowed a set off a Sigma (all they're good for) and blew them within the first 5 minutes. Although give it too much and the diff will snap. INTO PIECES. So if you can afford it get the Series 3 diff (including housing). This can be sourced at the wreckers for as little as $150.
