Faults:

When I first bought it from some guy when I first moved here, the oil pan gasket was bad, it kept spraying oil all over the place, and after driving it all day, the oil would start to burn, spraying smoke everywhere.

I have noticed a lot of road noise also.

Other than that, nothing has been wrong with it.

General Comments:

This is a great car. I am from America and this is any Japanese import fan's dream come true. The car is very quick and scares me sometimes when I am able to drive on open road. After I'm done living here, I plan to make it legal so I can drive it back in the states.

Faults:

Not one thing has gone wrong with this car.

General Comments:

Standard when I first got the car. Now I have performed suspension and engine mods, which really improved the performance dramatically. Producing 200 RWKW with the stock turbo, it's serious quick and handles very well

Faults:

Original clutch wore out at 110,000km.

General Comments:

Very surprised with the power of the 2L engine. The car rides low and body roll is almost non existent. The steering is responsive (2.1 turns lock-to-lock). Interior is sporty and seats hold you well. When turning tight corners quickly the back can step out, but its predictable and easy to catch, come off the gas and it steps right back in line.

Faults:

Nothing as yet - only owned it for a week so far. I did have to get a few things done before I bought it, but nothing major - loose brackets, screws and so on.

General Comments:

This piece of mechanical beauty is modded to the eyeballs, and hasn't lost a street race yet..

It is hard to use all the power in a two wheel drive, takes some discipline not to just plant it off the mark like the old Ford!

Terrible on petrol, and at $1.30 a liter, it really hurts the company fuel card :)

The only things stopping it from breaking the 450HP mark is the side mounted inter-cooler, and the injectors (both of which will soon be taken care of:)

Overall, great car to drive, handles well if you understand weight transfer and use a bit of common sense, many different ways to mod it and get those g's to push you into the seat, drinks petrol like I drink rum (that's a lot) but that's the sacrifice you make for the privilege of driving such a work of art. GO GET ONE!

Faults:

My timing belt broke due to seized idler pulleys.

Water pump broke (although it was new so it could have been faulty).

General Comments:

These cars are probably the cheapest way to get into a high performance vehicle with this much potential.

Mine broke a timing belt and cost me a lot of money it has not let me down since so I still think they are fairly reliable.

Since I got the car I have added a full 3.75inch N1 clone exhaust, bosh high flow fuel pump, front mount inter-cooler, oversized swirl polished valves and a electronic boost controller which is set from 8psi on low and 14psi on high and the performance gain over stock is incredible.

With race radials on it now does 12.9 quarter mile times which I think is extremely good considering I still have the stock computer (although I have a fuel controller which allows me to richen the fuel mixture up)
