Faults:

Carburettor needed rebuild.

Dropped ring, replaced block.

Rebuilt transmission.

General Comments:

A classic vehicle like the Toronado has its flaws; it needs better brakes, the front drive outer bearings need to be converted to normal style bearings using two per side, a conversion which I have done before, the rubber air hoses perish with time and will all need replacing by now.

On the positive side I have a car which is a standout, rare, well built and solid, a good thing to drive, and not too bad on fuel if you take it easy.
