2012 Suzuki Swift Sport 1.6 petrol
Summary:
Urban smart choice with style and high tech functions
Faults:
Nothing at all.
General Comments:
Small but roomy at the front.
Love this car very much.
The 2013 model is a much nicer hatch than before.
Drives well with much higher precision. Brakes and cornering are excellent. Initial acceleration response is bit of a disappointment - and understandable as all other CVT transmissions do the same.
Rear seats fold forward and I could fit so many boxes in (Ikea style furniture), filling it right up to the ceiling.
Doors and boots are not too heavy, but feel solid.
A full tank of 35 to 40 litres goes 580km.
Two things I could point out on the Swift that could be improved.
1. Rear seat head rest: when someone sits there, then the head rest has to be raised to seat them comfortably. However the driver's vision is blocked once rear passengers leave the car without putting the head rest down. So please invent a magical origami head rest in the future.
2. The stereo is great. However the Bluetooth connection is always on "play" when the Bluetooth is connected with the smartphone. Can we have a play/pause button on the stereo?
Would you buy another car from this manufacturer? Yes
