1992 Fiat Croma T ie 2.0 turbo i.e.
Summary:
Reliable high performance bargain
Faults:
Nothing major went wrong, apart from a leaking front shock and a worn clutch at 170 000 km. Seems normal for this kind of power.
General Comments:
Extremely fast, 0-100 in a mere 7 seconds, roomy and very reliable. Blows away all kinds of GTI's and the like with just 158 HP. Amazingly light-weight - kerb weight 1180 kg, although it's a big limo.
Consumption is about 13 l/100 km city driving and 10l/100km highway use.
These cars are extremely underrated and come to the second hand market really cheap.
Would you buy another car from this manufacturer? Yes

The real time it takes Croma 2.0tie 0-100 kph is 7,6 sec.
I think that 100kmph and 60mph is almost the same... Am I wrong?
Saludos.

I can just tell you that my father bought a used CROMA 2,0 ie, with 290 000 km on it, now its on 335 000 km, it runs like a dream, I am just sorry I couldnt witness her power when she was new. I should tell you that my dad is a low maintenance guy, he changes things after they brake down.

I lived in Germany from 86'to 93'. I bought a 1988 Fiat Croma Turbo i.e. I didn't really care about the 0 to 100km time. I can tell you it would run 250kmh all day long. I drove it from Heidelberg, Germany to Amsterdam in 3 hours and 19 minutes. Beautiful 2 tone silver and gold car. Never understood why Fiat didn't make them for American use.

Hi, I'm really shocked at the Croma's acceleration (7.4 sec). I want to know from Fiat Croma users how really good is this car, I mean, if it has malfunctions, defects, how expensive are the parts, how easy to fix is, how easy to find the car's parts are?

The acceleration of the Fiat Croma is 7.98 (0-62mph). The car is really fast. I have one, and I am going to make a mistake to sell it... I don't know why...

Those 7.0 seconds 0 to 100 km/h are a little bit wrong... 0 to 60 mph maybe...
