2005 Renault Megane 1.6 16v petrol
Summary:
I would recommend this car since it is quite handy and offers the best luxuries in its class
Faults:
Up until this day I have changed the following (I might add that they where changed free of charge under warranty)
1- Twice I've changed the A/C internal Blower
2- Rain Sensor
3- Steering Wheel Solenoid Lock
4- Car Battery
5- Complete Window Lifting Mechanism (Passenger Door)
6- Car Horn.
Otherwise, general comments like high internal cabin sounds while driving from the doors and console especially.
The a/c takes a while to kick in and make an effect (I doubt it will be very efficient in the Gulf area).
Brakes also make a lot of noise at low braking speeds. The ABS kicks in a bit too frequently when braking on slippery or bumpy roads.
Plastics are a little on the cheap side compared for example to a Peugeot 307.
General Comments:
Fuel efficiency is great on the highway at 100-120km/h.
Manual transmission is great for acceleration. 0-100km/h in about 10 seconds with no load.
Very stable on the highway at high speed. The maximum I reached was 210km/h no load and 195km/h with the car fully loaded. I think it can do better if I change the wheels and tyres to sporty ones.
Megane II Sedan offers a very comfy and spacious ride. Probably the roomiest in its class. Great Boot space too.
Generally, it is a great looking car, but some work can be done on the quality side to ensure perfection.
Would you buy another car from this manufacturer? Don't Know

I'm sorry, but I think you are only descriping the car from its manual or something, I'm going to by a Megane PhaseII, but most of the comments even for pepole from outside Egypt has the same issues regarding window motors, poor parts may be it is because the car is made in Turkey.
