Faults:

Quality of paint is poor, had to repaint some parts of the car.

Hydraulic pump failed at 80000km.

General Comments:

I have been very pleased with the car. It's great to drive and looks good.

Seven years and 10000km without any major problems. Selespeed has worked well, only gearbox pump had to be changed.

Faults:

Selespeed hydraulic pump failed leaving gear to neutral. At this time car had driven 77000km, cost of repair 750

General Comments:

Car is really good to drive, and except pump failure there has not been any malfunctions at all. When I was buying this car I was worried about comments written on these pages untill I checked also comments about A4 and 3series. You can't really evaluate realibility of some model from these pages, only find out which kind of failures are most common.

Faults:

Drivers seat were in some way on one side. Seats have a bit poor carriage compare with exactly the same type of seats of my earlier Alfa 156 1.8 Sportwagon.

Selespeed gear had done some peculiar behaving in some situations.

Accelerate from 0-100 km/h is nearly 13 seconds as it should be something like 9 seconds!

General Comments:

This car is excellent to drive. Selespeed gear is nice when you got used to it. 2.0 liter motor has anyway performance enough.

Faults:

Nothing.

General Comments:

Great car, looks good, superb handling even in winter times. Hope everyone gets change to test drive it.

If you like more sporty suspension go for the sportspack with lowered suspension and low profile tyres.

Build quality is good.
