1990 Mercury Capri L 1.6
Summary:
Under-rated bargain convertible
Faults:
Ignition warning light sometimes comes on but doesn't seem to mean anything.
Small cover of hood cover hinge broken.
General Comments:
Trouble-free pleasure. The car would put other cars half its age to shame. Exterior and interior are still in excellent condition.
The car is totally reliable and everything works perfectly.
Feels a bit slower than Mazda MX5 but the MX5 did have a 1.8 engine.
After reading reviews I worry when things will start to go wrong.
Can anyone tell me where I can get parts if anything does go wrong?
Would you buy another car from this manufacturer? Yes

I love my Capri, bought it in '94 with 29,000 miles, and now I have over 165,000 and it's still as fast as the day I bought it!
Yeah it has a few minor (window switch) problems, but after 9 years on the road, what car wouldn't...
P.s. I put four wheel disk brakes on all four wheels because I'm a speed demon! And my father insisted.
