Summary:

I think I'm lucky with this car. I got a good item

Faults:

Only very small vibrations from the engine when the car is stopped. Needs a software update.

General Comments:

The best car I have ever driven. Everything works fine.

It's so comfortable. I do 350km and I feel I just started.

Very economical when you want.

The so-called automatic windscreen wipers were fantastic. I drove 4 hours non stop with strong rain, and they worked perfectly.

Would you buy another car from this manufacturer? Yes

2000 Peugeot 406 ST 1.6 Gasoline

Summary:

A value-for-money, honest and safer car

Faults:

The stereo radio CD system (Clarion) mailfunctioned from the first day and the dealer kept sending me from one service to another. They didn't believe at first!

The engine makes a rough metallic sound when started in a cold morning!

Small squeaks start to appear.

Gasoline consumption is extremely high.

General Comments:

The car's suspension is probably one of the best in the market, undoubtably.

It is really quiet in the highway at high speed (+150km/h)

Reliable engine -till now that is.

Not the quality of interior expected for a car of it's class.

Very well built sound system.

Would you buy another car from this manufacturer? Yes

1. Do not afraid of the metallic sound you heard. It is from the hydraulic pump, because of high pressure of the cold hydraulic fluid. After a few minutes warm-up it will stop.

2. Gasoline consumption is high because of the small engine 90hp, you should buy the 1800CC model at least the difference in price was very little. Because the car is really BIG, it needs many horses to move it.

3.About the quality of interior, you should bought the SV trim or the leather package.

4. My friend just put when ever is possible for you another 1800 or 2000cc or more cc's, engine and I promise you'll see a different car from what you now have.

A car you should not like to get off of it!!!
