2003 Proton Wira 1.5 limited edition
Summary:
Expensive and USELESS
Faults:
1st : 2 rear suspension oil leak. Sent back to dealer, the technicians stuffed small pieces of cloth into it. What an uneducated act. I got it changed myself.
2nd : The car suddenly turned off. Just merely a year and the petrol pump is dead.
3rd : Find it hard to shift into gears. Thanks to the bad clutch.
4th : Door actuator could not function.
5th : Windows could not wind up or down, thanks to the cheap plastic parts.
6th : The engine needs tuning all the time. If you ever disconnect the battery, the tuning will be gone and back to default. The problem is, the default setting has knocking problems. The engine rattles a lot. Need to re tune all the time.
7th : The car gave me special sound effects after just few months old. I can hear lots of squeaking, rattling sound. Thanks to you Proton, I do not need to spend a lot for my IN CAR ENTERTAINMENT.
General Comments:
I owned a Wira 1.5 (M) limited edition with dual air bags and leather seats. All I can say about the car is, it's a waste of money.
Besides, the performance is totally sluggish comparing to other 1500cc vehicles. Try any Vios or City. It is totally day and night.
Well, now that I have sold it off and own my Celica, what a big big difference.
Thank you Proton for convincing and ensuring me that I will not be repeating my stupidity again to purchase your products.
Would you buy another car from this manufacturer? No

I Agreed with you experience. "BOLEH" means can build an engine, but no quality. "BOLEH" for "QUANTITY" but not "QUALITY".
