1994 Dodge Neon 2.0

Summary:

Great value

Faults:

When I got the car two years ago, some things needed to be repaired. I replaced the radiator fan, air conditioning gas, front brake pads and a bad O2 sensor. We are talking about $300 dollars.

After that I only had replaced 1 radiator and its cap for $130.

I have spent all that for the last 20000km (12500 miles). I think it's very cheap.

The car drops oil from the head gasket, but thats not a great deal, the only thing you have to is replace it.

General Comments:

In general, I think this is a good, pretty and cheap car.

1998 Dodge Neon

Summary:

Little car - BIG mistake!

Faults:

Water pump.

Head gasket (5).

Power sunroof.

Power door locks.

Power windows.

Heater Core.

Radio (2).

Car averged going to the dealer every 2.5 months.

Several different electrical sensors.

General Comments:

I do NOT advise anyone to buy a Neon or any Dodge product. I did not get any help from the dealer or from the manufacturer with the problems I had. It would take an average of three trips to the dealer to get just one problem corrected. I traded the car after 2 years of spending my off days at the Dodge dealer. I traded it for a 2000 Ford ZX2 that has not been back to the dealer since I drove it away.

Transmission - it's worth two pennies, that's what the whole car should be worth.
