General Comments:

Since I first saw this car as a ten year old, it was always a wish of mine to own one. This is my second Mach One; my previous one came from Anaheim ca. This one is an import, which comes from Agenau Swiss. People always take pictures of the car when I drive it through Amsterdam. It always turns heads and is a real pleasure to drive.

It's garage kept; sometimes I just sit in the garage and just look at it, and I don't drive it when the roads are salted like now.

Yes, of course it costs a lot of money to maintain it, but what do you expect as the car is almost forty years old.

People always start talking to me and ask me questions about it at the gas station. Brings back memories sometimes to older people.

I am very fond of this car, and will keep it till my last day.

2005 Ford Mustang GT 4.6

Summary:

Absolutely no regrets!

Faults:

Nothing yet.

General Comments:

The car has the best possible design for a modern muscle car with many retro styling cues.

The power and torque of this car are amazing.

Handling is better at higher speeds, while it's easy to break tire grip at low speed.

Rear seats are not for people taller than 175 cm.

Running costs are high (fuel, insurance, etc.).

Solid rear axle is the cause of low speed handling issues as well as handling bumps in corners. As for insurance and fuel, that's a given with this type of car lol. I love the new style mustangs, look like the 60's and early 70's mustangs.

1999 Ford Mustang 3.8 V6

Summary:

Great car for relatively little money

Faults:

Driver's seat adjustment. Nothing else.

General Comments:

Reliable car, quite economic and comfortable. No major problems. Silly that they limited it to 180 km/h, it has got enough reserve left, and in Europe it is possible to drive faster. Standard GoodYear tyres are awful. Fit Michelins or Dunlops, for much better roadholding.

Also quite silly that in Holland it is only available in red, green or black, and that the V8 is not sold here.
