Faults:

There is water coming into my trunk.

The speedometer is sometimes not working (electrical problem).

General Comments:

The model is great. It's quite unusual.

Driving a 480 is fabulous, especially if you realize it's designed in 1986.

The car is really fast (109 hp and only 990 kilo).

The car is very luxury.

Unfortunately there is a difficult and sensitive electrical system, which gives lots of problems (not with this one yet, but my previous (1986) one had lots of problems).

The back of the car is sensitive for rust. At the wheels and in the trunk. (again: not this one (yet), my previous had lots of rust).

Faults:

Complete clutch renewed, I thought this was only the clutch cable as I saw it was open and damaged when purchasing the car. Very expensive.

Electrical system failed in two weeks. No high beam and no indicators. Also expensive.

Leak in boot (common).

Changed inner rear bumper,was very rusty.

Several minor problems.

General Comments:

On full acceleration the steering wheel sometimes locks up until 3th gear. I have never heard of this problem on another 480 so maybe someone can help me?

The rest of the car still feels like a new one! This was different on my BX.

It's comfortable on smooth roads.

Faults:

Fingers crossed, so far so good.

General Comments:

A unique combination of Swedish safety, French power, Italian flair in a Dutch 'poldermodel' wrapper.

General Comments:

Excellent roadmanners.

Turbo version has even better performance than the 1.7 or 2.0 versions, real driver's fun.

Chiptuning possible for astonishing results.

Lots of luxuries.

Reliable.
