1987 Acura Legend L 2.5 V6
Summary:
The best in high performance and longevity
Faults:
I had to replace the alternator.
I had to replace the radiator fan, thermostat, and cap.
I had all of the gaskets on the engine replaced due to minor oil leaks.
The remote radio volume switch will not turn down.
The interior is still in excellent shape.
I did not have to do any of the above repairs until after 175,00 miles were on the vehicle.
General Comments:
This has been a wonderful vehicle which I received as a gift after it was already seven years old.
It is extremely quick and handles incredibly well.
It still gets 24 to 30 MPG every fill up.
I am so impressed by this car that I will probably make it my sons first car, and he has ten years before that will happen.
Would you buy another car from this manufacturer? Yes

This vintage legend rocks. The engine and trans and most of the suspension and gadgets are like new at 240,000 miles. Tires, brake pads, 02 sensors every 5 years, and normal tuneup stuff is all it needs. No wonder they stopped making them like this; the dealers were crying for more repair money.
