2001 Audi allroad quattro 2.7T
Summary:
Exciting to drive, Depressing for repairs
Faults:
Tie rod ends.
Exhaust sensors (4).
Torque converter.
Secondary exhaust fan.
Wiper fluid reservoir cracked and leaking.
Driver information electronic display fading.
Auto-leveling headlamps... $6700 estimate to fix everything wrong.
Just took the car in to get new tie rods, and found all these other issues.
General Comments:
So much fun to drive. Very confident in the snow. Accelerates quickly up the mountains. Feels safe at high speeds and in crappy weather.
Very comfortable, even had heated rear seats! I am going to fix the car and drive it for many more years. I just wish it wasn't so troublesome.
Would you buy another car from this manufacturer? Yes

I have a 3 year old Audi allroad. Certainly fun to drive, but the lack of reliability detracts from the product.
Radio failed in year one.
The electronic controller of the suspension system failed.
3 of the 4 air bag suspension units failed (very expensive)
Flat spot in the acceleration took multiple visits to the dealer to fix.
Excessive tyre wear has had all tyres replaced.
There does seem to be a pattern developing here...
