2001 Audi TT Quattro 225
Summary:
Great all wheel drive, good handling, 32 MPG and runs forever
Faults:
Very little has failed, just have done good basic maintenance.
Change timing belt every 90k miles.
Replaced front wheel bearings at 120k miles.
Replaced sway bar bushings and end links.
5 sets of tires.
General Comments:
Best car ever in snow. I suggest going to 16 inch winter rims and a set of Blizzaks for the winter. The only thing that will slow you in the snow is traffic.
I have a 60 mile commute across central NH, and typically see snow 3-4 days a week in winter.
It's a fun car for all conditions, that has a low cost of operation. Will break 300,000 miles this spring.
Would you buy another car from this manufacturer? Yes

Nice well made, good looking car, but better handling than a Boxster? You are aware it's only Golf components under the skin, right?
The TT's handling is average at best, and a Boxster would take it apart on any road or circuit you care to mention.
