Faults:

The power antenna didn't work.

During the first two months the 'Check Engine' light came on and never went off.

Driver-side window goes down; but does not go up without taking the window control out of the door and press against the switch. Tried replacing it with new, but did not help.

At 230,000 the fuel gage occasionally flashes, resets, or not even show.

General Comments:

The car is fast to go from a complete stop.

Loud and annoying horn; I love it. I want one on my next car.

Took it driving on ice one year and performed excellent.

The car is very large and great on long trips took it to Dallas, Texas to Little Rock, Arkansas; with no complaints.

This car was a real bargain. I paid only $2,700. And I never had any major problems with it.

Faults:

Normal belt and tire replacements.

Had to recycle the rotors.

General Comments:

This car was a dream come true!

Rides VERY smoothly.

Never had a problem starting it. Never was stuck somewhere with it.

Interior was awesome - leather seats, automatic everything, and a sunroof. All of these items worked fantastically.

Very comfortable to ride in. Very roomy, too.

Lots of trunk space.

Factory stereo was pretty good.

Horn is very obnoxious - love it!

Huge car, so safety was never a worry.

A real beauty, inside and out.

Faults:

Replaced badly worn tires because of bad alignment.

Replaced a fuel pump and rusted fuel lines that broke during the pump change.

Had a constant Check Engine Light, due to a EGR valve.

Transmission went into "limp" mode due to water (my fault) in computer.

Headliner starting to sag because of age.

General Comments:

Picked up the car for book value of $2000, and in mind got the deal of the century.

Seats rival that of my living room, soft crushed velor, comfort second to none.

Mileage: 22 City/ 30 Highway: this of course on a 12 year old vehicle with near 100,000 miles.

Replaced front rotors and pads for $36.00.

Heavy weight helps ride nicely in snow, and a firm ride in the summer.

Must be willing to sacrifice handling for the soft cushy ride.

First was purchased as a "winter/work/school" car, now is my favorite.

Makes most cars seem uncomfortable.

Overall, the best used car value on the market, perfect for first time driver, winter car driver, or anyone needing fuel economy that can fit in a compact.

Faults:

Replaced the air conditioner compressor, after I purchased the vehicle. cost around $350.00 after getting it recharged.

General Comments:

Great fuel economy with a big car ride.

I put 242,00 on a 88 park, and boy are these engines reliable.

This general motors platform are a great buy on the used car market, as most new purchases are made by older couples, who take care of their vehicles and perform routine maint.

Great ride, very comfortable with a touch of class. You must keep all of your service work up to date. Weaknesses are front disk brakes, some electrical systems and that auto trans must be serviced regular, Do this and you to can get 250,000 mile on a US car and still sell for $1500.00.

I am mow looking to get a newer model Park or Lesabre for my wife, her 1989 model just turned 180,000 miles. We will pass this on to our son and buy another Buick.
