General Comments:
The car was sitting out in a cow pasture for decades. Decades of cows leaning on the car had dented up. There was no water pump for some reason. The radiator leaked badly and there was a mouse nest inside of it. It was pretty well thrashed when I got it. The car had not been started since 1971.
I got it going after robbing some parts of my blown up dump truck. Brake parts were rigged off of various vehicles laying around. A computer case fixed the floor, and a tarp covered the bare springs on the seat.
The old Chevy was not very reliable. It tended to overheat on trips of more than 5 miles, and had constant oil leaks from the rusted out oil pan. The pan had many random bolts and screws in it before I quit driving it.
It needed a ton of work, so I sold it to some guy who wanted to turn it into a street rod.
Would you buy another car from this manufacturer? Yes
