2004 Chevrolet Aveo
Summary:
Average little car with plenty of interior room, poor gas mileage, MSRP = questionable value
Faults:
City gas mileage is terrible. With the AC running, mileage fluctuates between 15 and 20 MPG. I expected a car this size to get much better mileage. Highway driving is marginally better, but still off the mark from what I expected. I doubt that it's my driving style, I get comparable mileage under identical conditions in my 2003 Ford Explorer Sport Trac 4.0L.
Interior dome light has burned out 3x since the car was purchased.
Warning buzzer (doors, keys, lights) went out almost immediately.
Does not respond well when braking. Seems to think about stopping.
Seats are hard.
Serious road noise.
General Comments:
Cavernous interior room.
Sub compact. Performance is adequate - neither impressive nor unimpressive. Responsive enough to get into freeway traffic, but lacks any sort of neck snapping acceleration.
MSRP is high for what the car offers.

So let's get this straight. You acquired the car at 61,000 miles. And as of right now you've got 61,000 miles still showing on the odometer? You may want to put a little more effort into your review next time.
