1992 Chevrolet Beretta GT 3.1 F.I.
Summary:
Except for transmission problems I would buy this car again in a second
Faults:
I purchased the car with a rebuilt transmission. Recently the transmission is starting to act up again.
When it rains I get puddles of water on the left side of both the drivers and passenger floors.
The clear coat is coming off in three spots, but apparently fairly common for this vintage.
The front drivers seat is extremely worn, but a set of nitrous seat covers fixed that.
General Comments:
The 3.1L engine is extremely responsive and the car brakes and handles like a much more expensive sport car.
The interior is very nice and looks a lot less cheap than many cars I have owned.
All the controls are located very conveniently so as not to take your eyes off the road.
This car even at 13 years old turns a lot of heads.
Would you buy another car from this manufacturer? Yes
