Faults:
Where to start, well the thermostat went up last winter, no big deal right? Well I figured this to be the reason I don't have heat in the winter, but after replacing I still don't have heat. Heater core?
Next the windshield wipers quit working, had to replace the motor. About 50 bucks.
The alternator died at 63,000 miles.
The fuel pump died at 68,000 miles, along with the sensor for the gauge. One minute it would read full tank, then half, back to full and so on.
Now, at 69,845 miles, the thing just died on me again. The Blazer just quit, like it would if I was going too fast and the governor kicked in. Had to have vehicle towed from a busy City st. God only knows whats wrong with it now.
Ball joints are bad on both sides.
The paint on the ZR2 fender flares is flaking off.
The vehicle stutters during take off and while driving at normal speeds.
Check engine light has a mind of its own. It comes on at it's own free will, which makes it so the vehicle will not pass NYS inspection, hence not legal to drive.
The interior front door panels pulled off of their brackets last winter while trying to shut the doors, which caused an annoying rattling noise while driving.
Radio lights quit working, along with the little pass. side speaker on the dash.
Door pins are shot, the driver's side door now hangs about 1/4" lower than it should, and the area where the door pins are located on both sides is rusty.
I think that about covers it. I will let the site know about this most recent issue, and how much to fix. Again, all this at not even 70,000 miles. I should have kept my Ford.
When Chevy says "Like a Rock", what they really mean is "Like a Crock." Never again.
