2000 Chevrolet Blazer
Summary:
The blazer has been my worst choice ever.
Faults:
Many things have gone bad with this SUV.
Within the first week, I had to take it back to the dealer because the front joints were bad.
After 4 months, my transmission blew out and I had it replaced.
Shortly after, my brake lights malfunctioned. Then after a couple of months it happened again after I had already fixed it.
The recliner levels broke on the both the driver and passengers side.
After a year I had to replace the front bearings.
The gas gage also went out.
The transmission broke down again after I had it fixed a 1 year 1/2 ago!
General Comments:
This car was my college graduation gift. But more than a gift it has become my nightmare.
My first choice was the Toyota Corolla sport, and I ended up choosing the Blazer over the Corolla. This has been my worst mistake ever.
I can't complain about how comfortable it is to drive the blazer when it does work. But this car has put a dent in my pocket ever since I got it.
Would you buy another car from this manufacturer? No

Check the fuel pump, that could be the cause of you hesitation. As well as your fuel gauge because your sending unit (sensor for the fuel gauge) is located inside the fuel pump. GM shotty plastic fuel pump hates gas that contains ethanol. The ethanol basically eats em up.
