2000 Chevrolet Blazer LT 4.3 vortec
Summary:
Been good to me in NH rough weather
Faults:
Upper ball joint; $28.39.
Tranny in need of a flush
Wheel bearing; $98.56.
General Comments:
People complain about these cars all the time. I don't know if it's just their bad luck or my good luck, but at 147000 miles just now things are showing problems.
My only question is there anybody with the same problem as me, as far as a hard slam when going in reverse, and a lack of some power in reverse, but no problems in drive; shifts perfect?
Would you buy another car from this manufacturer? Yes

Very funny, but true. I have a 2000 Blazer LT, and it eats lots of gas too. Runs fine, but only gets up to 150 at full tank, and still does the same after a cat, MAF, distributor, air filter, and a full tuneup.
Just have to say what the f**k? Over $2000 in parts in less than 2 years.
