General Comments:
The classic F-body cars since been discontinued by Chevrolet...
Such a disappointment because the F-body (Camaro/Firebird) is GM's muscle car.
The vehicle will never get the MPG of a Geo Metro, but need I compare the two?
The most annoying thing is the CAGS skip shift which is easily disabled.
Handling is very responsive and easily gets around the tightest hairpin turns.
The Cabin is straight forward and well designed... speedometer, Tach, oil, temp, voltage, fuel, and idiot lights for the dash. "Airbag" only appears where there is one and for someone that doesn't know the shift pattern of a 6 speed it is clearly marked behind the shifter not on the handle to wear off.
I have not really gunned the throttle to feel all the horses of the famed LT1 but I have easily beaten a 2003 mustang cobra on the freeway, every import that has challenged me and almost caught a buddy's Camaro SS LT4.
This is a rare car to find in good shape, unmodified and at a good price I was unbelievably lucky and the guy who sold it to me wanted to keep it, but is going to active duty for the US ARMY... I solute him and wish him best of luck I shall take care of this car until death do us part (then I rebuild the engine).
Ten thumbs up for the car.
