1986 Chevrolet Cavalier cs 2.0 liter L-4

Summary:

This is the most reliable car in the world

Faults:

It rusted really bad.

It needed a new rack and pinion.

It needed a valve cover gasket.

It needed an idol adjustment.

General Comments:

This is the most reliable car ever.

The guy I bought it from sold it to me for 35 dollars not 350 dollars.

These cars run forever.

Very strong for a four cylander engine.

I own a 1988 cavalier and its had its moments. the car is old so you can expect it to need repairs more. I've had this car for three years now and it still runs great. The wipers seem to have a mind of their own. I plan to buy a newer car the first of the year. But I plan to keep this car because it's a great car.

1986 Chevrolet Cavalier Wagon 2.0 4 cylinder

Summary:

Beats anything Ford has made

Faults:

Nothing.

General Comments:

One of the best cars Chevy ever built.

I would rather drive it than anything Vhevy has come out with since 1990.

The most dependable cars you can buy, without buying foreign.

I have written to Chevrolet GM in favor of them re-marketing the 1986 wagon (or upgrades w/2.0 liter engine) because I have been getting c.25+ mpg. Like the general trend in these "last days" (i.e. - the time of the revealing of the Anti-Christ), discontinuance of the production of the wagon in lieu of monster sized fuel hogs (such as the Avalanche) only serve to hurt the poor, the usual victims in decisions made by non-user friendly executives. The worst of the actual performance of the 1986 wagon is the body rot port and starboard between wheel wells and the usual design difficulties resulting in difficult do-it-yourself repairs.
