2007 Chevrolet Cobalt
Faults:
Absolutely nothing.
General Comments:
This car is awesome to drive. It has a lot of pick-up, and handles very well. I have a base model, that is - roll-up windows, no air-conditioning, no power door locks, but the stereo is really good :).
I do find it hard to see out the rear window, because of the way it is built (to look sporty), and am quite nervous backing out of parking spots etc.
The seats are not all that comfortable, but I do expect that on a base model like the Cobalt. Also, the cloth material gets dirty looking very easily. Mine is a light grey colour, and the texture of the cloth seems to attract dirt.
All in all though, I love my car! I haven't found too many cars I can say that about.
Would you buy another car from this manufacturer? Yes

All Cobalts delivered in North America have standard A/C. There is a button on the panel on the lfet side of the defroster button below the radio that engages and disengages the a/c compressor.
That being said, I find my 07 Cobalt to be a great car and have had NO complaints beyond those minor ones I gave in my review last year. The foreign car fans say all kinds of stuff, but when you add up the total cost of ownership, the Cobalt is very affordable and durable. When a Cobalt costs $5,000 less than a marked up Civic or Corolla, that's money I can spend elsewhere, like on my 66 Bug!

Wow!
I was really excited when I read the two comments above. I ran out to my car, and looked for the a/c button... alas there was none. I also remember the salesman asking if I wanted to pay the extra monthly payment for a/c and I declined that at the time. So it appears, a/c is really not standard on all Cobalts in North America. I am in Canada, and I think that qualifies as part of North America.
Darn!

I am from Chicago area and I had an option to buy cobalt without A/C and with manual trans, but I went for Aveo with A/C and auto for equal money. I think I made a good choice, but MPG's are in range of 18-20. Sad isn't it?

Check again... all Cobalts have A/C as standard.
