Car has good performance.

Front brakes not great, but work.

Handling is good, but not a sports car.

Seats are comfortable.

Easy viewing of gauges.

No cup holder.

Paid $800 for a car with only 36,000 miles.

Owned by a little old lady from Granada Hills, Ca.

I'm the second owner.

Great family car, if I had a family.

Air conditioner is very cold. High switch doesn't work, but still gets very cold.

Lots of head & leg room. Trunk is big. Rear seats fold down.

1990 Chevrolet Corsica LT 1.6L

Summary:

Not pretty, but it's a good car nonetheless!

Faults:

The headliner came out, all brakes had to be replaced as well as the housing units on the front. Seats are in fair shape except for the rear seat, and the paint is chipping badly.

General Comments:

My wife and I bought this car last year when we forced to sell our 2004 Envoy because of gas prices. I hated this car at first because it was almost 16 yrs old, and because I was bitter about losing my Envoy. But I stand behind GM products. My wife had a corsica when we first met and loved it, so when we bought this one for 1000 dollars (us) she thought we were getting a deal. We did get a really good deal, after I had Carfaxed the vehicle to make sure the miles and everything were right we bought it. It has truly lived up to previous GM performance. At 100k miles we had top replace a lot of things, but that's because we live in a cold climate and it had come from a warmer climate. Overall the car has been a good one and if it's anything like my wifes old one we still have around 150k miiles to go.

1990 Chevrolet Corsica LTZ 3.1

Summary:

Best car ever

Faults:

All little things- Had to put a junk yard steering column in it due to previous owners abuse. New brakes, shocks, visors (because they where missing), fuel door hinge, fuel filter, plugs & wires, exuast, radio(old one kept shutting off when I would hit a bump).

General Comments:

I originally bought this car as a temporary driver while I put a transmission in my unreliable 96 grand am, I buddy of mine had it sitting at his place for about 6 months because of a broken steering column due to his fist and a fight with his GF. I gave him 75dollars for it and have had it every since. I have put about 65000 miles on it and maybe have $500 in it all together At 189,000 miles I wouldn't hesitate to drive it anywhere. This by far is the most reliable car I have ever owned.

1990 Chevrolet Corsica LT 2.2

Summary:

I thank God for this car

Faults:

Heater Core was plugged when I got it.

Fuel sender line leaked.

Flywheel got damaged by a wrongly installed starter

Seats are worn.

General Comments:

Generally this is a very dependable and robust car. Maintenance and repairs are easy and not too expensive. The 2.2 liter engine is a bit sluggish and noisy at low gears, but this thing has so much power and speed on the highway. It's very stable.
