1992 Chevrolet Corsica LS
Summary:
Somewhat reliable and easy to drive, despite being cheaply manufactured
Faults:
Paint has came off and exposed metal rusted on 10% of the car.
The gasoline meter reads 1/4 tank when car is off, reads somewhat properly when car is on.
Power locks work, but it takes several pushes of the switch for it to properly lock or unlock all doors.
The seats upholstery are generally good, with only one slight rip in drivers seat.
Transmission started slipping around 160,000 miles, only when you accelerate too much.
Fuel pump went out at 194,000 miles.
It seems like this car eats up gas quickly.
General Comments:
Has great handling.
I've gotten this car up to 120MPH, and it really didn't take me that long.
The interior is pretty comfortable.
The stock speakers sound surprisingly good.
My first car, and I've given it a severe beating and it keeps on going, aside from occasional small issues (brake pads, etc).
It's fun and very easy to drive.
I find the car to be somewhat reliable, gets me from point A to point B painlessly.
Would you buy another car from this manufacturer? Yes
