2000 Chevrolet Corvette Coupe V8
Summary:
Outstanding high performance vehicle
Faults:
No problems the last two and a half years.
General Comments:
Outstanding looks and performance.
This is the 14th Corvette I have owned and the best one so far.
Drove it cross-country last year and got a high of 33 miles per gallon (6-speed transmission). It averaged 29.5 for the whole trip. Not bad for a car that will run the quarter mile in 13.5 seconds and has a top speed of 175 MPH.
Would you buy another car from this manufacturer? Yes

It's a Corvette, not a Fiero.

No corvette can achieve 33mpg!
The simple displacement of the engine (V8) is proof.
Your fuel gauge is uncalibrated or your reading the gauge upside down etc...
Doh, even the MPG sticker presented on the window from GM will state 15-18mpg regardless as to city or highway driving.

Actually, 13.5 in the quarter is a bit conservative for a LS1 'Vette - try high twelves.
