2001 Chevrolet Corvette C5 5.7 V8
Summary:
Funnest car I've ever owned
Faults:
The service ABS light comes on randomly; I assume it is a screwed up sensor inside the car. It usually disappears after a restart.
The seat is starting to tear on the backside, or that might just be how GM designed their seats.
Nothing else.
General Comments:
The car sits ultra low, like 4 inches off the ground low. Speed bumps can be a pain depending on if the speed bump is a bad one.
It is a super comfortable car; I could definitely drive 400 miles in it and still feel good.
I learned manual on this car; it has a super tall first gear; enough to get around a parking lot.
Overall it is a great car for an absolute steal of a price right now; 12-15k for a good condition one.
Would you buy another car from this manufacturer? Yes

It’s only a steal if it has lower mileage. You will be putting some money back into it over 50k on the odometer. You can’t buy back mileage.
