2004 Chevrolet Epica LS 2.4 litre inline six
Summary:
A real gas guzzler
Faults:
Runs well, but you can see the gas gauge go down as you drive. I get 14L/100 km. Car is rated at 11L/100 km. It gets same mileage in city as some of Chev's large vehicles. Very poor mileage... dealer says its due to twin overhead cam engine. It gets the same mileage as a Lincoln. I contacted GM and haven't heard back. I would advise against purchasing this car unless you are on a gas expense account or own a gas station.
General Comments:
Very poor gas mileage.
Nice looking car.
Has great options, but lacks a panic alarm, which is useful in find your car in a shopping plaza.
Lights have to be turned on, no low washing fluid warning, doors don't lock automatically.
Would you buy another car from this manufacturer? No

I do not believe that having automatic door locking is an advantage. All this will do is slow down your rescuers in the event of an accident. I believe the fact that this vehicle will unlock ALL doors on entry is a far greater safety issue.
As well, poor in-city fuel economy with a vehicle of this size should not be a surprise. There are numerous posts complaining of fuel mileage, and I believe that a bit of research would have helped here.
