2007 Chevrolet Impala

Tire wear excessive: replaced tires at 8000 miles had front end aligned at 12000 miles, replaced tires at 15000 due to excessive wear.

General Comments:
Although this vehicle is a police car it is supposed to be built for police service according to General Motors yet is is not holding up like the Ford Crown Vics.
Attempts to talk to GM customer service have failed with excuse after excuse, but no help in rectifying these problems.
Would you buy another car from this manufacturer? No

I suppose you're right, but a police package car is built for that usage. But I would never compare a new 06 up 9C1 to the 94-96 police Caprice, even the 00-05; they aren't the same cars anymore. Caprice was Chevy's last real police car like Crown Victoria PI body on frame. They can take a beating like a pickup truck ram, and tow highway patrol 260hp 330tq low down more than these new FWD Impalas for police use.
