1995 Chevrolet Monte Carlo LS 3.1 V6
Summary:
Great luxury and performance for the price
Faults:
Nothing major at all.
Leather seats worn a bit.
Ash tray lid broken.
Center console broken.
That's it.
No performance problems at all.
If you maintain the car, it will love you forever.
General Comments:
The car has 100k miles on it, and it feels better than it did since I bought it, thanks to new plugs/wires.
Tranny feels great, and the engine feels smooth.
While the car isn't a racer, it picks up for its heavy body. It's a great car to cruise around in. Very comfortable, and roomy:
The back seat is very roomy for a 2 door. The seats fold down in the back, I was able to fit an 8' ladder in the trunk. Everything in the car has room.
Doors may be a bit heavy for some, but it's a Monte Carlo, not a Honda.
It handles great in the rain and snow.
Gas mileage is about average.
****Major Testament **** I was in an accident in this car; a pick up truck hit me nearly head on and no damage to the frame at all. I got the car repaired and it looks better than new. This is a very safe car to be in, it's built strong and there's nothing cheap about it. Nearly the whole driver's side needed to be repaired.

Bottom Line: It's not a 4 door Lumina as most will tell you. This is a very sleek and stylish car car. I am 21 years old, and this car is far from a "old mans" car as most will say as well. Best thing I have ever bought. I get compliments on it all the time. I love it.
Would you buy another car from this manufacturer? Yes

I wish I would have found your review sooner. My Z34 has the same problem yours did. A horrible cold start problem. Goes up to about 3,000 rpms and shuts of unless your foot is kept on the gas. Not a good thing to do. Its been 8 days and they still haven't found the problem. I'll keep this in mind.
