2018 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 LT 4x4 crew with All Star 5.3
Summary:
Not worth the price at all
Faults:
Since day 1 it has had a clunking in the trans when downshifting; maybe even in the brakes. Has been back to dealer 3 times; nobody has fixed it.
When transmission is upshifting, it stutters sometimes. I towed 6k lbs behind it (fairly balanced load) and it felt like the suspension needs an upgrade; also the 3.42 gears aren't enough.
I have had episodes of days where the A/C decided it didn't wanna work or the key fobs wouldn't work.
I purchased it retail; was 48k after rebates. It was 38k 14k miles later in excellent condition. Trade in value at the same place it was purchased is about 28k. So I will not be buying another Chevrolet. Thanks. Hope this helps someone.
General Comments:
It's pretty. About all I can say good about it.
Would you buy another car from this manufacturer? No

Sorry to hear about your experience with the Chevy truck. GM is really counting on that truck to do well. It's their money earner. Not sure if you got the brand new, fully designed 2018, or is it the newly designed one the 2019? Not sure. GM has been laying off personnel. And if their cars are not built well, people won't buy and more lay offs will come.
